We tried to get pregnant for 3 years. I did some researches and found her on Yelp.   When we meet Dr. Winkler, she told us to start with IUI. But she never pushed us to do anything, which is what I like. And when I first told her I don’t want to take medications, she agreed with me. Our first one was natural IUI, which failed. But the second was with medication and was very successful. I can say more than successful because we are having twins, two baby boys.  I never thought that I would be pregnant that soon. THANKS to our amazing doctor. The words cannot describe how thankful we are.

Dr. Kalan is the most amazing, and compassionate doctor we’ve ever encountered. He’s realistic, funny, personable, and doesn’t give you the run-around. He has what we call in the medical field… “awesome bedside manner.” He speaks to you like an equal, he listens to your concerns and ideas, he actually talks WITH you, not AT you. He’s truly funny and has a legitimate sense of humor; he spends time with you during appointments, and he is reachable. Whenever I have a question (most of which are typically non-urgent…ok, all of which…) the reply always comes directly from him, and within a very reasonable time frame.

We don’t live near his office. In fact, the drive there is pretty awful, but there is no hesitation to make the sometimes two-hour drive to his office for an appointment. He’s THAT good.

We’re in our early 30’s (I just having turned 30 a few months ago) and have been struggling with unexplained secondary infertility for three years.We have seen other practitioners who offered us little in terms of a feasible solution…lots of “let’s try this and maybe it will work,” and lots of Clomid. While we understand nothing is guaranteed, with Dr. K we are finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.  We are beginning our IVF journey with Dr. K in February, and we are as confident as anyone can be in this situation.

Words can’t even describe how my husband and I feel about Dr. Winkler.  She is truly a blessing for us.  After trying to get pregnant for two years, we sought Dr. Winkler’s help after having read multiple reviews about her.  She is an incredible doctor who is gentle, caring, responsive and an expert in her field.  While attempting IUI, I remember having a conversation with her about moving on to IVF.  Some doctors I would suspect would recommend moving on to avoid wasting their time, as well as making them more money.  Dr. Winkler was different.  She said let’s give it another try because we want to try to do this as natural as possible and of course we’ll always have IVF to fall back on.  I knew then that she had my best interest at heart. In the end, we did have to do IVF.  I’m happy to announce that with Dr. Winkler’s help, I am now 6 months pregnant with twins and can’t be any happier. I have her to thank.  If you are looking for an incredible doctor who will take care of you in every way, Dr. Winkler is the doctor you should call.

I’m happy to update that I had a successful first round of IVF, and my husband and I are the proud parents of girl, boy, boy triplets!!! ,I delivered them three weeks ago via c section. My husband and I want to let everyone know how amazing Dr. Kalan is.  We strongly believe that if it wasn’t for him, we would not have our family. My husband and I struggled for 8 years of infertility.

Dr Winkler is by far the most amazing, knowledgeable, passionate and caring doctor I have ever met. She treats patients in a very humane way and makes them feel very comfortable around her. She gives them her time without making them feel rushed, no matter how busy she might be.She is also reachable via email and phone. She simply makes you feel in safe hands and always shares and explains whatever procedure she might be doing.

Our story is that I’ve been a PCOS patient and previously treated twice with IUI with a different doctor with negative results. When my husband and I moved to LA, I did my research online to look for a fertility doctor. Reading about Dr. Winkler made me feel super comfortable and positive, so I gladly picked her as my doctor.
